Course for jobseekers

We have adapted our core curriculum to specifically address the skills and competences needed when looking for a job.  It spans over 8 weeks and covers the top three skill sets important for finding and keeping work: Communication, Adaptability, and Collaboration.

In 2026, the unemployment rate in Iceland is at 7.3%. Among foreign nationals, it stands at approximately 10%, compared to a rate that is barely measurable among Icelandic citizens.

We have extensive experience working with international clients and groups where individuals are of mixed background.

Our company addresses several skills that are needed both by local and foreign job seekers. We have partnered up with Vinnuvís to support our teaching with psychological expertise and psycho-education.

FAQ

What methods do you use?

Our sessions are a combination of psycho-education with lectures by a certified psychologist and hands-on exercises using our applied improvisation methods to bring it to the real world. All of our sessions include debriefing for all individuals as well as the entire group. We use assessments (like “Quality of Life Scale”) to follow participants’ progress.

What topics do you cover?

We cover the job search, preparation for the interview, navigation during the interview, and integration into the new work environment.

What is the goal?

Our goal is to empower the participants to leave the course feeling self-assured, believing in their capacity to act and achieve. Not only that, but they receive real, applicable tools to navigate their next steps in finding a job and keeping it.
